the Holy Rosary Prayer

THE ROSARY PRAYER!

I have been wanting to write this for some time and I am going to need lots of Spiritual help from Jesus and Mary and the Saints to be able to put across what I want to say.

The Rosary prayer....What's so special about this prayer that goes around in a circle of 5 sets of 10 beads(Decades) and that funny little tail of 5 beads with a cross on the bottom.

St. Pio once referred to the Rosary as his “weapon” against Satan and sin.

The three little seers in 1917 at Fatima prayed the Rosary..

Lucia and Jacinta were very faithful but Francesco a little lazy.

When Mary appeared, both Jacinta and Lucia could see an hear Mary perfectly well but Francesco saw and heard nothing.

When the other two asked the Virgin Mary why Francesco could see and hear nothing, she simply said for him to start reciting the Rosary.

As He obediently complied, he immediately began to see and hear like the other two.

The Rosary is a prayer promoted by The Virgin Mary during her appearances in 1917 at Fatima Portugal.

After the Second World War, Father Patrick Peyton often known as the Rosary Priest, lead simple crusades attended by people in their thousands and tens of thousands all over the USA and in key cities of the world.

It has been said by many, that these crusades repeating the Rosary, saved the world from a Nuclear war, the Third World War, which almost broke out in 1961 over the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Every time you pray 5 decades of the Rosary, you will be repeating the Lord's Prayer, The Our Father, 6 times.

You will also repeat the name Jesus at least 66 times.
The name of Jesus at which every knee will have to bow.

OK so now you know why I am such an enthusiast for our mother the Blessed Virgin Mary and for the Rosary Prayer.

In my street ministry, I have distributed CDs DVDs and Holy Pictures and Tracts but now I am convinced that distributing Rosaries along with a very graphic accompanying leaflet is the most world changing activity that I can participate in.

A Holy Picture or a DVD CD will definitely encourage your faith, as will a Holy Picture or a well written Tract but and there is a big BUT,

The Rosary will put the receiver of it to work for the salvation of the world.

Give a man a fish and you will feed him for a day but teach him to fish and you will feed him for the rest of his life!!!
