Confrontaional!
Yes!, I am a confrontational kind of person.
I try not to soft soap people just to get their friendship and financial help!
Yes!! I have done that in the past and it sickens me.
I sincerely believe that after wandering around in the PROTESTING wilderness for almost 40 years, that I have at last entered into the Promised Land of the ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH.
I totally realise that my Church is far from perfect and if it was, which it isn't, then me joining it would have immediately made it IMPERFECT.
I also sincerely believe that if anybody, and I mean anybody, who stops and takes the time to study History and especially Church, Bible, History will tumble to the fact that this Church really is the Church that Jesus promised to build and maintain until the end of the age. (See Matthew Chapter 16 verse 18.)
Having followed the events of the last week end only goes to prove just how powerful (in the Spirit that is), my Church really is..
The opposition was just feeble and was swept away by the Charm, Humility, Shyness, Unobtrusiveness and just sheer Love of our very own dear B16. Pope Benedict the 16th.
He for sure was not a compromiser and spoke on all the subjects that would have been dubbed controversial.
He did not flinch from his responsibilities as a leader of the only really effective group of Christians on this Planet.
The Pope has routed his enemies and brought joy to the faithful
The last four days began in anxiety, but ended in euphoria
John Henry Newman, now Blessed John Henry Newman is best remembered by me for saying something like the following when he was being warned by his friends that he would lose everything if he changed over to the Roman Catholic Church...”One Holy Mass is worth more than all the cash and friends in the world.” This was also said by the Cure of Ars Saint John Vianney and all the following quotes are along the same lines.
Graces from Holy Mass

2.Every Mass is worth as much as the sacrifice of Our Lord’s life, sufferings and death.
3.Holy Mass is the most powerful atonement for your sins.
4.At the hour of death the Masses you have heard will be your greatest consolation.
5.Every Mass will go with you to judgement and plead for pardon.
6.At Mass you can diminish more or less temporal punishment due to your sins, according to your fervor.
7.Assisting devoutly at Holy Mass you render to the Sacred Humanity of Our Lord the greatest homage.
8.He supplies for many of your negligences and omissions.
9.He forgives the venial sins which you have not confessed.
10.The power of Satan over you is diminished.
11.You afford the souls in Purgatory the greatest possible relief.
12.One Holy Mass heard during your life will be of more benefit to you than many heard for you after your death.
13.You are preserved from dangers and misfortunes which otherwise might have befallen you.
14.You shorten your stay in Purgatory.
15.Every Mass wins for you a higher degree of glory in Heaven.

In eternity we shall fully realize that it was certainly worthwhile to have assisted at Holy Mass daily.
Pray for priests that they may offer the Mass with holy love and reference.
Quotes on Holy Mass
“The Mass is the most perfect form of prayer!” – (Pope Paul VI)
For each Mass we hear with devotion, Our Lord sends a saint to comfort us at death (revelation of Christ to St. Gertrude the great).
Padre Pio, the stigmatic priest, said, the world could exist more easily without the sun than without the Mass.
The Cure’ d’ Ars, St. Jean Vianney said, if we knew the value of the Mass we would die of joy.
A great doctor of the Church, St. Anselm, declares that a single Mass offered for oneself during life may be worth more than a thousand celebrated for the same intention after death. St. Leonard of Port Maurice supports this statement by saying that one Mass before death may be more profitable than many after it.
“The Holy Mass would be of greater profit if people had it offered in their lifetime, rather than having it celebrated for the relief of their souls after death.” (Pope Benedict XV).
Once, St. Teresa was overwhelmed with God’s Goodness and asked Our Lord, “How can I thank you?” Our Lord replied, “ATTEND ONE MASS.”
The Blessed Virgin Mary once told Her faithful servant Alain: “My Son so loves those who assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass that, if it were necessary He would die for them as many times as they’ve heard Masses.”(Page 107, last paragraph of “Explication Du Saint Sacrifice De La Messe” parle R.P. Martin de Cochem Friere – Mineur Capucin.)
We are not alone when we attend the Holy Mass. We are accompanied by all the angels in Heaven, all the saints, and all the souls in purgatory who are waiting for our prayers to reach heaven. I had never known that attending the Holy Mass is so important. I hope all of you now have a clear picture of how important Holy Mass is.
.
Let us try our level best to take part in the Holy Mass not only on Sundays, but on every day of our remaining life on this earth. May our Almighty Lord help us in making this bold decision and in carrying it out.
